Injuries can significantly disrupt a business, leading to substantial direct, flow-on, and indirect costs. Beyond the financial impact, injuries can also lower workforce morale and create potential legal liabilities.
The PeopleTray SHEQTray module offers tools to effectively manage risks, reduce the likelihood of negative events, and minimise the consequences of incidents, including those related to Health, Safety, Environment, and Governance (SHEQ), as well as injuries.
PeopleTray helps businesses comply with both Australian and International Standards, ensuring best practices in health and safety, risk management, and injury management.
The Health and Safety Event Management process in SHEQTray encompasses all necessary aspects for managing Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) events. This includes managing event types and subtypes, risk ratings (with customisable risk matrices), causes, investigations, and safety corrective actions. Workflows are configurable, allowing you to define participants for each step and set up relevant notifications. OHS events can also be linked to risks in the Risk Register.
In SHEQTray, injuries are tracked as part of Health and Safety Events.
The image below shows a Safety Event Workflow, with available tabs, including the Injuries Tab, where injury details are added. This tab captures information such as the injury type, body part affected, agency, and mechanisms of injury.
When an injury is added to a Health and Safety Event, it automatically appears in the Injury Management area of the SHEQTray module, where all aspects of injury management are handled, including medical certificates and return to work programs. Access to this section is restricted to users with a Custom User Role that grants them permission to manage Injury Management pages.
