Injuries can be a major disruption to a business in many ways, with the cost of injuries including significant direct, flow-on, and indirect costs. Injuries also negatively impact workforce morale and may create legal liabilities.
PeopleTray includes tools to manage risks, and reduce the likelihood and consequences of any negative event, including Health, Safety, Environment and Governance, and events that result in injuries.
PeopleTray supports businesses in meeting Australian and International Standards and best practice for health and safety, risk and injury management.
The health and safety Event Management process includes everything needed for managing OHS events including event types and subtypes, risk rating (enter your own risk matrix, causes, investigations and safety corrective actions). Workflows are configurable, including participants in each workflow step, and notifications. OHS Events may be linked to Risks on the Risk Register.
In PeopleTray, injuries are added to Health and Safety events.
This image shows a Safety Event workflow with the available tabs, including the Injuries Tab, where injuries are added, including the injury type, body part, agency and mechanisms of injury:
When an injury is added to a Health and Safety Event, it automatically displays in the Injury Management area of the SHEQTray module, where medical certificates and return to work programs are managed. Only people with a Custom User Role giving them access to Injury Management can access those pages.
