Custom Fields can display in multiple places within PeopleTray. If you require a Custom Field on the Custom Field Tab follow the below steps...
Please Note:
- To switch on the Custom Field Tab please navigate to Settings > Account Options > Display Custom Fields Tab on Person profile
- To rename the Custom Field Tab please navigate to Settings > Account Options > Display Custom Fields Tab on Person profile
How to add a Custom Field to Person Details, Asset Details or Safety Events
- Login as System Administrator
- Navigate to Settings > Custom Fields
- Select Add Custom Field
- Complete mandatory fields
- Select the Entity that you are adding the Custom field to. E.g. People, Assets, Events
- By default the custom field will display on the Entity Details page. If you tick 'Display on Custom Page', the field will display on a new tab for that Entity, (See image immediately below).
- Select Save
To configure drop list items on Custom Fields
Custom Fields Types can be configured to be a Date Picker, a Text field, or a Dropdown List. To configure the items on the list..
- Login as System Administrator
- Navigate to Settings > Custom Fields
- Select the 'configure dropdown list items' link
- Select Add Option
- Complete mandatory fields
- Select Save
