As an Administrator or System Administrator, you have two options to send an SMS message directly to a team member in PeopleTray.
Option 1: Message a Team Member Directly via the Person Profile
Note: The Messages Tab must be enabled for the Client's account. This can be done via Settings > Account Options by selecting Display Messages Tab on Person Profile. Once enabled, you can follow these steps:
- Log in as an Administrator or System Administrator.
- Navigate to the Person's Profile and click on the Messages tab.
- Type the message you wish to send.
- Select Send to send the message to the team member.
Option 2: Message a Team Member Directly via the Messages Section
- Log in as an Administrator or System Administrator.
- Navigate to Messages > Message Person.
- From the dropdown list, select the required person to message.
- Click View Messages to see all previously sent messages.
- Type the new message you wish to send.
- Select Send to send the message to the selected team member.
Additional Note:
- A Workgroup Editor can be given access to send SMS messages through the use of a Custom User Role (CUR). This allows more flexibility in granting permissions for SMS communication.
