In CRMTray, contacts are the individuals you interact with on behalf of your business. Each contact is linked to a specific company, and their details are visible in both the Company Profile and the Contacts page. Additionally, you can track communication by adding notes to each contact.
You can add a new contact through two main methods:
Method 1: Add a Contact via the Contacts Menu
- Log in to CRMTray as an Administrator or System Administrator.
- In the left menu, go to Add New > Contact.
- Complete the required fields for the contact.
- Click Save-Open to open the new contact profile or Save-Next if you wish to add another contact.
Method 2: Add a Contact via the Company Profile > Contacts Tab
- Log in to CRMTray as an Administrator or System Administrator.
- Navigate to Companies.
- Locate the desired company and click on the Company Name.
- Go to the Contacts tab.
- Click the Add Contact button.
- Complete the required fields for the new contact.
- Click Save to save the contact or Save-Next if adding another contact.
How to Add Notes Against a Contact
- Log in to CRMTray as an Administrator or System Administrator.
- In the left menu, navigate to Contacts.
- Click on the name of the contact you want to add notes for.
- Go to the Notes tab.
- Click Add Note.
- Fill in the required details for the note.
- Click Save to store the note.
