Your roster (also known as 'swing') identifies the number of shifts you will be working. A common FIFO roster in mining is two weeks on and one week off (2:1).
A roster can be made up of a collection of Shift Types...
- One day x FIA (Fly In AM)
- Six days x DS (Dayshift)
- Six days x NS (Nightshift)
- One day x FOA (Fly Out AM)
- Seven days x R&R (Rest & Relaxation)
Shift Types also indicate if accommodation is required or if a flight is required, and if so, whether the flight is an incoming or outgoing flight.

Dayshift/nightshift/no work: Often used to assign rooms so that all nightshift workers are grouped together as opposed to scattered amongst dayshift workers.

Accommodation Required: If a room is required onsite for the worker then this checkbox will be selected
Incoming flight required/outgoing flight required: If a flight is required for the worker then the 'Incoming flight required' checkbox is selected. The system will match the ports and flights for the worker.
