Flights can be configured and added to the flights schedule.
How to add a flight
- Login as Administrator or System Administrator
- Navigate to Settings > Roster > Flights
- Click Add Flights
- Complete mandatory fields
- Click Save
Flight Number: A specific code that an airline assigns to a particular flight in its network
Single/Regular: A single flight is a one-off flight. A regular flight is a flight that will appear consistently in the flight schedule
Template: Similar to a copy function if a flight details will be used often a template can be added and then used for other flights
Flight Date: Is not the actual date of the flight but when it starts it's service
Recurrence: If the flight is a regular one, how often does the service occur (e.g. daily, weekly, fortnightly)
Carrier: The airline who services the route (e.g. Qantas)
Type: A charter or commercial service. Chartered flights are planes that are leased by a private company.
Departure Port: The travel port which the flight departs from
Arrival Port: The travel port which the flight arrives to
AM/PM: This is used to match a person's flight requirements via their assigned roster and the flights schedule
Check-In Time: The time which the traveller's are expected to arrive at the airport
Departure Time: The time which the flight departs
Arrival Time: The time which the flight arrives at their destination
Hours Of Travel: The number of hours in the air
Seats: The number of seats allocated on the flight
Luggage: The number of pieces of luggage the traveller's are allowed to bring
Total Weight: The total weight allowed on the flight
