A Flight Plan allows a user to manage multiple leg journeys. A multi-leg journey occurs when there are flights that stop at one or more intermediary ports before reaching the final destination. The segments of a multi-leg flight are sometimes referred to as connecting flights.
For example: If the starting point/origin for a worker is Melbourne and the Destination is Utopia Mine, the connecting ports are Adelaide and Perth you would add the following Flight Plan...
- Login as Administrator or System Administrator
- Navigate to Settings > Roster > Flights > Flight Plan
- Click 'Add Flight Plan' button
- On the Details Tab complete mandatory fields
- Ensure Origin = Melbourne (MEL)
- Ensure Destination = Utopia Mine (UM)
- On the Routes Tab add the flights required to get from the Origin to the Destination
- The flights will be sorted by Departure Time
- Click 'Save' button
