There is a logic built into the Build process, certain areas will be prioritized ahead of other areas.
Priority | Area | Comment |
1 | Travel Groups |
|
2 | Rosters |
|
3 | Rooms |
|
4 | Flights |
|
Travel Groups:
Travel Groups with the highest priority will be considered first, as long as the Build period is within the Start Date & End Date of the Travel Group.
For example, a Travel Group with a Priority = 1 will be built ahead of a Travel Group with a Priority of 20. The Travel Group Priority will ensure people assigned to this Travel Group will have their flights/rooms booked ahead of anyone of a lesser priority.
Rosters:
Rosters with the highest priority will be considered second. For example, a Roster with a Priority = 1 will be built before a Roster with a Priority = 20. The roster priority will ensure that people assigned to this roster will have their flights/rooms booked ahead of anyone of a lesser priority.
Rooms:
Rooms with a highest sequence will be filled first. For example, a Room with a Sequence = 1 will be assigned before a Room with a Sequence = 200.
Rooms with a Booking Type = Permanent Single/Shared will be assigned first.
Flights:
Flights do not have a sequence or a priority and people will be assigned seats in the most efficient manner. For example, if there are two flights leaving at the same time, the system will fill one of them before filling the next.
Please Note:
- A roster with a Priority = 0 is considered the highest priority.
- A room with a Sequence = 0 is considered the highest priority.
- A Travel Group with a Priority = 0 is considered the highest priority.
