PeopleTray makes it easy for Administrators and System Administrators to send bulk SMS messages to multiple team members at once. The sent messages are logged for auditing or verification purposes and can be reviewed as needed. These SMS messages are text-only (no images or videos) and have a 640-character limit.
Steps to Send an SMS Message to Multiple Team Members:

Log in as a System Administrator or Administrator.

From the Home Page, click on 'Send SMS' or navigate to Messages > Send Batch.

You will be presented with various options to target specific team members or groups:
- Person: Search for an individual person or select multiple people to message.
- Workgroup: Select a specific Workgroup you wish to send the SMS to.
- Work Role: Select a specific Work Role, and all team members assigned to that role will receive the SMS.
- Team Group: Send the message to all members within a specific team group.
- Onsite: SMS all team members with a shift type indicating they are currently onsite.
- Employment Type: Select from employment categories such as full time, part time, contractor, etc.
- Roster: Send a message to all team members on a specific roster.
- Camp: Send a message to all team members staying in a particular camp.
- Employer: Send a message to all team members employed by a specific company or organisation.
- Travel Group: SMS all team members within a specific travel group.
- Course: Send a message to all team members scheduled for a particular course.
- Placements: Send an SMS to team members currently assigned to a Host Company for their apprenticeship placement.

Type the message you wish to send, or select a pre-prepared 'Text Template' from the available options.

Click Send SMS to send the message to the selected team members.
This feature allows for quick, efficient communication across large groups, ensuring your team stays informed and up to date.
Additional Note:
A Workgroup Editor can be given access to send SMS messages through the use of a Custom User Role (CUR). This allows more flexibility in granting permissions for SMS communication.
