A roster consists of multiple Shift Types arranged in a cycle. The Seed Date marks the start of the roster cycle.
Important Note: Shift Types must be created in advance through Settings > Rosters > Shift Types before you can create a new roster.
How to Add a New Roster
- Log in as a System Administrator.
- Navigate to Settings > Rosters > Rosters.
- Click the 'Add Roster' button.
- Complete the required fields.
- Click the 'Save' button.
Fields | Description |
Name | The name of the roster. |
Description | A brief description of the roster. |
Seed Date | The start date of the roster cycle. |
Day | The weekday on which the roster cycle begins. |
Priority | The roster’s priority in the build order. Rosters with priority = 1 are built before those with priority = 99. |
Active | Is the roster Active for you to be able to assign to workers? |
Copy | Allows an existing roster to be copied. |
Add Shift Types | Assign Shift Types to the roster. |
Configure Roster | Updates the Roster pattern in the grid below. |
Build All People | Updates all individuals assigned to the roster and reflects changes in the Master table. |
